I just recieved this item today and I was really happy that I could finally play my PsP on my TV... Untill I noticed there was no video cord.

I'm sure this is mentioned before, but if you only have the normal YELLOW/RED/WHITE hookup, this item isn't worth the buy unless you already plan on getting a wide screen LCD/High Definition TV in the future. Best one to use for normal TV sets is the COMPOSITE cable, not the COMPONIENT one. -- Good if you got the right items...

This cable is has worked well with my setup. The cable length is approx 8 ft. I am viewing on a 55" Mitsubishi HD and progressive settings. I get a horizontal rectangle in the middle of the screen with approx 4" of black on all sides. I am using a NXG female to female coupler and a 25' component cable in conjunction to the PSP cable and have yet to see any signal loss. I anticipate that watching movies with this setup will be good in quality. The audio transfers well and sounds good through the TV speakers. I would suggest this to anyone who, like me, has a son wanting to play at home with a larger screen size. I noticed that the packaging says" PSP 2000 Only". I have a PSP 3000 and This cable is awsome!! you get the most out of it from a umd movie. the games aren't played at a full screen but the picture is crisp! So if you have tons of UMD movies, this is the way to go! -- cable for psp 3000
