I was looking for a video out cable for the PSP to use on our road trip. We have two 7" Lilliput monitors that I hang from the back of the car headrest. I was able to split the video/audio output to both monitors so the kids could watch movies and play games (with Headphones!!!). (Note: I understand that you can only play games if you have a PSP 3000) I loaded up a Memory stick Pro with movies and the kids had a blast. This product does work with a PSP 3000 and the video quality for composite is very good. I even connected the PSP to my 52" wide screen TV and the video looked good (It was far from HD quality but I would say it was VHS quality) On the smaller monitors the video looked great. -- Cable are perfect and work great!

This cable is awesome, although it should say on the package that it also works for the PSP 3000 instead of reading, "For PSP 2000 Only." I have a new PSP 3000 and this cable works great with it. Amazon got it to me quicker than I expected, so I was really happy with the whole experience. -- PSP AV Cable

works as intended. high quality as most sony products. i recommend getting this as opposed to third party. when are they going to have an hdmi output? -- psp to tv for me

These cables definatly works with my psp3000 (sorry 2000 or below owners).
games and video play at quality between old sd tube tv and dvd.
I also bought the psp component cables for my hd tv.It works excellent as
well, but these composite cables I bought because i also have an older
tv (yes pre-digital ready dinosaur tube) wich we use for our gaming room.
As stated in other reviews it crops image about two thirds of tv screen,
as with both cables. -- works on psp 3000

Many of you have said that you can't play games on the composite, but if you have the PSP-3000, it DOES! I don't know about the 2000, because mine broke a year ago (my 2000, of course, my 3000 is a few months old, and works fine). So if you can't play games on your 2000, stop whining!

I gave this 4 stars because when you play a game, the screen is only like half-size. Also, the visual quality could be a little better, but it's good overall.
The good thing is that it's very bright. I don't know if you can make it brighter, as mine is always on the lowest setting. Please leave a comment if you know if you can adjust brightness.

Overall, it's nice to have, and fun to use when you don't feel like bending over the little(ish) PSP screen. -- It DOES work!
